Thickness of PVC-coating

For Class 1 material, mechanically strip the polyvinyl chloride (PVC) from the wire and measure the minimum and maximum thickness of the polymer coating with a suitable micrometer.

For Class 1, the minimum thickness of Polymer-coating at any point shall be 0.38 mm and the maximum thickness of Polymer-coating at any point shall be 0.64 mm.
